Biography:
The artistic director of Nemesis Theatre Company, Melon has been producing, performing, teaching, and directing Shakespeare since 1999. Past local directing projects include the 2018 Hamlet at Montford Park Players; Nemesis productions of Coriolanus (2020), Midsummer for Haters (2022), Cymbeline (2023), and Romeo and Juliet (2024); and Julius Caesar (2022) and Twelfth Night (2023) for the Montford Moppets. Melon also teaches classes in Shakespeare performance, offers monologue coaching, and occasionally even steps onstage in roles ranging from Mark Antony in Julius Caesar (2016) to Penny, the perky Australian realtor, in Splatter Play (2023). Melon is also a board member of ATA!
