Performer Auditions Information

  • Performers of all experience levels are welcome to participate in the ARTAs.
  • Auditions will be held in timed slots and attended by representatives from regional theaters casting for their upcoming seasons.
  • Each auditioner will be giving 2 minutes to perform a monologue, sing, or a combination of the two.
  • At the end of the first day, January 31st, emails will be sent out to let you know if you will be invited to callbacks, either the following day, or at another time for a specific theater.
  • At the time of your registration, you will be asked to provide your contact information, headshot, resume, and which show you are interested in.

Ensemble Auditions

  • Ensemble auditions are opportunities for performers to be considered for group or supporting roles within a production or across a theater’s season. In community theatre, these auditions are just as vital as lead-role auditions, the ensemble brings the show to life through movement, music, and atmosphere, and often includes featured moments or smaller character parts.
  • These group auditions are designed for a low pressure audition process in a group setting.  No prepared monologue or song required.
  • If you are interested in dancing roles, you may be asked to stay for the dance call.

Volunteer and Tech Interviews

Ever been interested in volunteering or participating in backstage roles?  Show up on Feb 1st between 5-6 pm to talk to theaters about your interests and ways you can get involved.  Resume optional.

Registration

  • Active ATA members will be given early registration in mid-November.
  • All non-members will be invited to join Jan 1st if there are spots still available. Join ATA now
