Biography:

Noah Clinton Messick, a bass from Hickory, NC, is a senior at Lenoir-Rhyne University double majoring in Music Performance and Sacred Music. He has previously won the NC NATS Classical Division and received the Most Outstanding Collegiate Male Singer award, as well as being a semi-finalist in the NATS competition in Chicago. Most recently Noah has performed the role of Lurch in LR Playmakers production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY. Past productions were with the Janiec Opera Company at the Brevard Music Center, working under director Dean Anthony. There, he sang the roles of the Immigration Officer in Jonathan Dove's FLIGHT, Tiger Brown in Kurt Weill's THE THREEPENNY OPERA, and covered Colline in Puccini's LA BOHÈME under Metropolitan Opera conductor Steven White. He was also featured as a soloist in An Evening of Jerome Kern & Friends, conducted by Broadway's Andy Einhorn, and performed as the bass soloist in the Brevard Music Center's PATRIOTIC POPS concert and Handel's MESSIAH SING-ALONG in Hickory, NC. Offstage, Noah enjoys hiking, grilling, gaming, and spending time with his family, his friends, his dog Remy, and his girlfriend Sarah. He is also passionate about pursuing a career in music ministry.
