Middle Rage is ready to rock April with another Rage @ The Stage: A Frenzied Evening of Improv Comedy at NC Stage!

We just LOVE to invite some of our fave improv pals to rage that stage with us and this month is no different! We are so, SO excited to celebrate the Asheville premier of Jugtown Mountain, made up of long-time vets of the NYC and Chicago improv scenes, Shannon Krowicki and Jon Bander! Brand spanking new to Asheville, Jugtown Mountain is ready to bring some musical improv magic to your ear-holes and eyeballs!

Shannon Krowicki is an actor, singer, comedian, and coach originally from New York City, now proudly calling Asheville home. She trained and performed improv at both Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet Theater in NYC. Her performance credits span off-Broadway and regional theaters, local commercials, and film and television productions, most notably Nickelodeon, The History Channel, Starz!, Amazon, and Investigation Discovery. She currently performs monthly on the musical improv ensemble with Misfit Theater. Follow her on Instagram: @shannonkrowicki.

Jon Bander is a Character and Sketch teacher at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater, and a former member of their house character team Characters Welcome. Jon has also performed at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival and worked for The Second City aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. Otherwise he performs/teaches standup, musical improv, sketch and characters nationwide. TV credits: MAX’s Search Party, Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Master Of None and The Characters. Most people call him Bander – you can too!

Kicking the whole night off will be one of the Misfit long-form house teams, Not Dead Yet, a talented, hilarious, and fun bunch of improvisors — consisting of Arrow, Mallory Nuckols, Hagan Maurer, Matt Wilson, Jade Fernandez, Candace Essenburg, Jaz Randall and Rage’s own, Paul Dixon!

Hosted and curated by Middle Rage, aka Stacey Uria, Matt Peiken, Paul Dixon and George Awad, this show is all about spotlighting some of our fave improv teams in the region, all while bringing some of that improv magic to you, the audience!

The Rage has NOT ebbed and neither should yours!
