Producer, director, writer, educator, and (occasional) performer. I’ve served as the Executive Director of both Parkway Playhouse and Attic Salt Theatre Company (which I also co-founded). My passion is working with students and to that end I’ve directed youth productions at ACT and Attic Salt, ran Attic Salt’s Teen Board mentoring program, and spent many years writing and teaching arts curriculum in underserved schools in NYC and Asheville. As a writer I’ve co-authored three theater education books for Scholastic, and written touring shows for family audiences that have traveled the region.

On the administrative side of theater I’m a strong grant writer and love helping companies develop their strategic plans and shore up the business side of their artistic endeavors.

I have a long history of performing and still do so on very rare occasion.
